Mind you, when I say co-sleeping, I'm NOT referring to bed-sharing, I'm referring to having an Arm's Reach bassinet connected to our bed for easy access to baby throughout the night. While I've heard this can make it harder for baby to transition to sleeping on their own, I've also heard it can result in better sleep for both mother and baby, help baby feel safer and more secure, make nighttime feedings easier, help mama feel better with baby visible at a glance, and perhaps even reduce risk of SIDS. Would you say it's a good idea or a bad idea? If you don't mind, please comment why. I'm a FTM and I'm trying to figure out how to best approach the sleep situation before baby comes!
