I’ve been on the pill for almost 3 years now and I’ve tried 2 brands. The reason I switched from the first is because it was affecting my emotions too much. The brand I’m currently taking has been just fine and also helped regulate my period, I’ve been taking this brand for 1 1/2 years. When my OBGYN talked with me about it she suggested I take it at night because the first week or so might make me feel nauseous and that’s what I did. I never woke up feeling sick in the night. So anyway, I picked up and started my new pack last night and the packaging and pills are completely different in every way shape and form. It had a sticker warning me that it’s the same medication but may look different. I took the first pill of the first week at 10pm last night. I woke up at 5am feeling sick to my stomach so I went to the bathroom with a trash can and sat there for 15 minutes trying to get myself to throw up so that my stomach would stop hurting so bad. Nothing came up and i adjusted a few things to help me go back to sleep. When I woke up this morning I felt fine. I called my pharmacist and explained and he said they don’t have my normal brand and replaced it with this one until mine comes back in but he’s never heard of anyone feeling sick from it. Has this happened to anyone before or anything similar??
