Anybody else prescribed baby asprin?

I’m high-risk for preeclampsia and my perinatologist just prescribed a daily dose of baby aspirin. Anybody else prescribed baby aspirin? If so, when did you start taking it, and are you taking it until birth? I’m wondering why they’re just mentioning this, when she said it would have been optimal to start taking it at 16 weeks (I’m 23 weeks). 🤔

I am.  I started at 14 weeks and am still taking it at 25 weeks.

I was prescribed it 16-32 weeks but got a second opinion and as I have slightly low blood pressure the second dr decided I'd be okay as long as I go back every 2 weeks to have it checked.

I started taking baby aspirin at 5 weeks. I had preeclampsia with my first daughter. I'm 23 weeks now and my blood pressure has been great so far this pregnancy. Hope it stays that way. Good luck and cpngrats.

I have to take one a day and three doses of Aldomet for chronic hypertension. I started it at 12w 3d, I am now at 23 weeks. At my 12 week appointment my blood pressure hit 160/130. It took two weeks of gradually increasing my meds and adding a baby aspirin to finally get it to come to normal. I just had an appointment and my pressure was 124/74.

I’m on it. Midwife wanted me to start it after my last appt. she thought someone else had talked to me about it...who else would have?! She’s my baby doc. Started it last week.

I was prescribed because I had preeclampsia with my last pregnancy.  My doc said that studies show it'll decrease the risk of HBP.  So far my BP is perfect

I had preeclampsia with my son so this time around I take a baby aspirin in mornin and before bed starting as soon as I found out I was pregnant .

I am for pre pregnancy hypertension.  I started at 13 weeks and am still taking it at 25 Weeks.  No mention of stopping.

I am and I started around 14 weeks. but they are watching my placenta because it's low still and I'm 23 weeks
