Dr. Mom is a hypocrite + do I need to tell my doc that I'm on the pill?

I'm 17 and my mom is super religious so I ordered the pill myself on prjktruby. My periods are heavy, irregular, and being able to have the extra protection with my boyfriend is important to us. I have a job, and believe I should be responsible for my own reproductive health so I went ahead and dropped the $60 for 3 months. She'd flip out if she found out I was taking it, which isn't hypocritial at all since she took it herself for 20+ years but whatever...

My dad wanted me to get on the pill last year, but the idea of me not being the next Holy Virgin Mother infuriated her so that got shut down real quick...My doctor is super chill and I could shoot him an email anytime to update him that I'm taking it, but don't parents have access of minor's health records? I'll be 18 in June, so this shouldn't be an issue for too much longer, but I'm just kind of on the fence about letting my doc know. Do I need to? On top of everything my mom is a physician as well, so I'm kinda concerned that she'll notice the symptoms I'm getting so far from taking it. Do any of y'all have experience taking Aubra? So far I've had splitting headaches and cramps. Any advice would be appreciated
