Hey guys! I picked up calligraphy writing, but I'm having trouble keeping my wrist and pen steady to get that pretty thick and thin structure to my letters. Did anyone else have this problem? What helped you learn?

Also, I got watercolor pens, but they are extremely pigmented and I don't own white to tone the colors down. It makes my paintings appear rough. Has anyone used watercolor pens? Do you have any suggestions to make my paintings look smoother?
