I had an abortion in September. At the time I had no healthcare and my boyfriend and I were having problems. Now I have a steady job, health insurance, my own place and boyfriend proposed to me and we are very happy. I really want to start our family. I have some medical problems, and I'm worried that I might miss out on having a family of my own. My question is, is it to soon?

As long as you don’t have a lot of scar tissue you should be fine, if you’re concerned talk to your obgyn they can really help with this stuff.

If you’re both ready, then it sounds like the right time. It’s only “too soon” if one or both of you thinks it is.

I do know that some women can have fertility issues after having an abortion. I personally don’t think it’s too soon. Go for it.
