Dog kennel help 😪

So. My dog has a very bad habit of refusing to go outside when it's cold or wet (she is a chihuahua/Italian grey hound mix - I THINK - which I've read are nearly impossible to potty train 100%) so when I'm not home she will pee and poop on the carpet and both me and my roommates are kinda sick of it. So I need to start putting her in a kennel when I'm not home.

Problem is. She is TERRIFIED of it. She won't go anywhere near it. Even with treats (I've left trails of her favorite treats going closer and closer and inside. She won't touch them) and just having it out and visible gives her anxiety (she paces around with her tail between her legs). I got her to go inside it ONCE last year - and she very nearly hurt herself, because once she was in she panicked and started doing back flips and spazzing the fuck out and got stuck and spazzed more - I had to grab her and pull her out.

So I honestly have no idea how to get her to go in anymore and not be afraid of it. Tips would be great.

It's already got treats in there, her favorite blanket(so her scent is there), and one of her toys.
