Completely unrelated but thought one of you may be able to help

I think I have a stye on my eye, I first I thought it was just a spot but don’t think it is and by boyfriend said he thinks it’s a stye, I’ve never heard of it before and don’t want to ask him because he will take the piss out of me for days if I tell him I don’t know what one is 😂 how do you treat them? It bloody hurts 😂 and I don’t want it to get worse I’m at work in morning 😂🙈
