Braxton-Hicks

I’m 38 weeks and have been having Braxton-Hicks contractions for about 3 weeks now, and lately I’m having them more and more often! They aren’t painful, just uncomfortable for the most part. Occasionally I’ll have one that feels more like a menstrual cramp versus just the normal extreme tightening of my belly, but those don’t happen as often. Is anyone else in the same boat!? I know it doesn’t mean labor is necessarily going to happen soon, but one can hope right!? How long did any of you second time moms have Braxton-Hicks before you went into labor?
