When did you tell your SO you were pregnant?

I was so nervous this round I peed in a cup and my husband actually did my test for me. 😬

I actually told a friend first because I couldn't get a hold of my SO. I had literally just moved across the country and away from him to help my family 3 days before I found out.

The first time I had him look. Just because it had been 5 years worth of negatives. Told him not to get his hopes up. He called me in saying I needed to see it, because it was positive. We lost that pregnancy back in 2015. This time (day before his birthday) I tested while he was sleeping. Instantly started bawling when it was positive and ran into our room. Shook him awake and shoved it in his face. He probably thought something was horribly wrong because I could not stop crying. It took a few minutes for him to wake up and realize what was happening :D Now we're 30 weeks + 2 with our rainbow. Little girl due in March :)

I found out a week before Christmas, I told my husband on Christmas day by giving him a sparkly box with little onesies in it

The second it showed positive I came out of the bathroom and showed him both times. I can’t keep secrets. I have no patience. I get too excited. Plus he would have been pissed if he found out I hid it from him for a while lol

I got my positive test while hubby was at work so I went and got a baby book and a shirt that said “mini me” on the bump part (obviously wasn’t showing and it was big but still cute) and wore it when he got home, gave him the wrapped up baby book and pregnancy test. He was so surprised! We cried. It was great. We had tried for almost 4 years through infertility problems so it was an emotional moment. ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't get to tell him. He texted me asking if I was pregnant 2 hours after i took it because my dumb self took a pic of the pregnancy test which uploaded to our linked Google photos app (Granted he usually never looks at the app or pictures). So yea lol.

I tested super early in the morning probably 3/4am, but with an internet cheapie, and it was soooo faint I made myself wait a few more days (still testing daily with a cheapie!) and then used a digital to be sure! The day I tested positive with the digital (again 3/4 am) and he worked at either 7 or 9 I didn't want to wake him, and then  I didn't want to get up when he got up! So I told him when he got out of work. I wanted to talk to someone about it all day but I didn't want to text him, and I wasn't going to tell anyone else before I told him!

I was so excited that I skived a huge portion of the work day to gather a little box together and I surprised him at his workplace that evening. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
