First Reproductive Endocrinologist Appointment

Hi ladies! We have our first RE appointment next week and I would love to know what to expect and anything you wish you would have asked!

Long story short, my husband and I were diagnosed with infertility. I’m 27 and my husband is 29. After his semen analysis, my gynos office called me over the phone and said, and I quote, “he’s the problem, you’ll never have kids with him. Don’t bother with IVF, you need a donor”. I was crushed and haven’t been back to my gyno since. My husband’s numbers aren’t THAT bad besides his morphology, which he has been taking lots of vitamins for.

I had a ton of blood work and an HSG and TV ultrasound- I’m assuming he’s going to want to run his own tests.

Anyway, I would love to hear your experiences go calm my nerves. Did you conceive naturally with meds, IUI, or IVF? I’m so nervous yet so excited to be at this point. We were supposed to go in September, but unfortunately it was the week Hurricane Irma hit and it pushed us back 4 months.

Please tell me all your experiences, both good and bad! I feel like I won’t be sleeping until we see the doctor!
