When do most baby's start trying to crawl?

My little bean just turned a month old a week ago and for the past week or so he's been trying to lift himself up on his arms so i was wondering if that means he's going to start trying to crawl soon or uf it is just something they do for awhile. He's still wobbly when he tries but he can lift his head up steady and has been able to from about a week old.

my sons 6 weeks and when he does tummy time he starts to slide himself forward and turns all over the place. He's rolled over 4 times already so I think he's going to be crawling early also

You’ve still got a while! My baby started propping herself up on her elbows when she was around 2 months old. She’s currently 6.5 months and at 5 months started army crawling. She now gets up on all fours and crawls. I think it happens between 6-9 months.

Well my 8 month old just started trying. So I would say your baby is a little on the early end for crawling 😂

He's still got another 5 months or so. The average is 6-10 but some kids can earlier, some later. Depends on the kid but lifting his head up and all that is right on track with the norm.
