Would you be mad if your husband went fishing for the weekend, leaving you home alone with the baby/kids?

We have a 2 month old and an 8 year old. I EBF so it would be a huge hassle for me to get away for a weekend by myself nor would I even consider doing that right now. I know I'll get by but it's really going to suck not getting any breaks all weekend. I'd deal with it if it was a trip for work, but fishing??  What do you guys think?

Just my opinion because everyone is different.... but I would be a bit upset bc it sounds inconsiderate. Yes, I'm sure he needs a break too but why should you struggle and handle it all while he just gets to lay back? I mean he's part of this just as much as you are. And Iike you said too you can't even do a trip like that even if you wanted too. I think one day would be fine to give him that break but a weekend is a bit much. Again, that's just me.

I’m a single mom, ebf. And it’s definitely hard. But I would just appreciate the fact that he is around to help at all. I would possibly be a little annoyed but I wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. You will survive a weekend. Your 8 year old is old enough to play with the baby for a few minutes so that you can get a few things done. I make it work alone 99% of the time.

My guy left for an overnight trip when the baby was a month old. Sometimes I beg him to leave so I have one less (man) child to take care of
