Do you think having a huge age gap with your SO can be an issue

I’ve been seeing this guy for a couple months and everything is great. We have the same sense  of humor, we could talk on and on, and we like to do the same kind of activities. He’s been nothing but a true sweet heart to me but some people may say that our age difference may interfere. Which I can see why, we have a ten year age difference. Feedback would be nice!

There’s 30 years between me and my man. We’ve been together almost 3 years and have a 6 week old baby boy. We never argue, we’re an amazing team and he always reminds me of that. I couldn’t be without him I love him so much!

It may be like that for other people but if you are happy then it doesn't matter. I'm 19yrs younger than my SO and I love him to pieces. He is a man and not a boy and treats me well. Enjoy your relationship and don't let age worry you x

I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 26. I was very mature for 18, went to school, worked fulltime, had my own place and fully supported myself so we had more in common that I had with most people my own age.

It truly depends on what stage of life you’re in and if you have the same life goals at this time. Some older men are ready for the relaxing time with no kids in the house, and others are just now ready for a family. Age is just a number, it’s the goals and dreams you have that matter about being in sync! :)

I voted yes because it CAN be an issue, but isn’t always. 
I feel this way from experience. My parents have a 13 year age gap, they got married when my mom was 25 and my dad was 38. 
Although they generally were happy for the majority of their marriage, that ended once they each started reaching pivotal ages in their lives. Once my mom hit her 40s she started to change (maybe a mid life crisis) she wanted to do so many things like get a motorcycle, become a personal trainer, do marathons, travel, go out, etc... My father was in his mid 50s by this point and he was starting to mellow out. He was at a different point in his life so their interests clashed. Eventually they got a divorce. 
So yes, a large age gap can most definitely effect a relationship but for some people it can work!

I think a huge age gap can be an issue, but I don’t think 10 years is huge. I think it gets weird when they’re the generation of your parents or children.

For me it doesn't. I've told my guy that any age Gap issues I'd have with someone ten years younger than me, same age as me, and 50 years older than me. If only because I seriously just can not remember 75% of my childhood to begin with. So for me traditional issues with age gaps are going to be the exact same issues I'd have with someone my own age.
