My mom was very straight forward with me with how periods and pregnancy went together. I was just 10 but mom felt I wa stature enough for the talk and it really helped. She gave sled cAre tips, pad tips and. explained hormonal changes to me it really helped me. I just didn’t like that she told me it was an all life kind of thing. That really made me sad haha

I was her age and remember thinking I was going to die😂even tho they taught us in school! I was scared to tell my mom 😂it happened while I was spending the night at my cousins house. When she picked me up I went to the bathroom hoping it was all gone. I guess I took awhile Bc my mom came to check on me. I showered her and she laughed and just basically explained to me that I had got my period and I wasn’t going to die😂after that she took me to the store to show me how and what I needed to buy🤷🏻‍♀️. Just be up forward with her! You got this!!!

Be honest and make sure she knows that periods are normal and natural!! Not something to be ashamed of. Admittedly not always comfortable but it’s a sign she’s growing up healthy. 
Get her a pretty little pencil case or wallet to keep pads in her school bag or locker.

explain the pads ,and all the changes that are going to happen .I wish someone would of explained it to me and showed me how to do it.make sure to tell her to change pad every few hours .
