What happened to my baby?? 21 month sleep issues and tantrums

Anyone else blink their eyes and find their child went from sweetheart to tantrum throwing terror? It came on so quick! He was a great sleeper, great demeanor and this week he’s suddenly a different child. Fighting bedtime, full on tantrums in the morning and before bed, not eating well. Is this just a phase?? Ugh.

Yup! Tantrums, hitting, throwing things, banging her head on the floor, screaming before naps, screaming before bedtime, throwing food, beibg a general jerk. Lol. I'm 37 weeks pregnant so my emotions are all over the road and trying to stay calm and reasonable while she's behaving like this is HARD. It better be a phase or I'm gonna wear out in no time.

My son’s meltdowns happen at naptime. To the point where he sometimes has them at lunch which is right before nap if he has been playing very physically, and sometimes I get him at lunchtime from daycare and just find him in tears going totally ape shit. Rest of the day he is normal.

Yes!! He has his moments especially at night. He just started to wake up 3-4 sometimes 5x’s crying once i pick him up he’s ok & points to my bed. I lay him down with me til he falls asleep put him back in his crib & i stay awake the 15-20 min he’s laying with me because I always fear im going to squish him or he’s going to roll over & off the bed sooo I’ve been super tired especially at work! 😑
