Abnormal pap???

So yesterday I got a letter from a clinic I use to go to get annuals and BC saying they were worried about my abnormal pap to contact them however I haven’t been to them in 3 freaking years yet I just got the letter I haven’t moved or changed my phone number in over 6 years so wtf I call them and they say they will have a provider call me with the results I said ok after 3 years you contact me they say they have sent letters BS I never got them never got a call But  iv gone to another doctor my OBGYN I have had a baby since so I’m pretty sure I’m fine I mean they did paps and everything for being pregnant I’m just more annoyed then anything but regardless I haven’t got the call yet and I can’t help but worry ugh!!

Abornal paps happen sometimes. Some cells may have been abnormal, they usually retest just to make sure that's what it was and not something else. If you're had different paps since then, and no abnormalities, you're fine.

I know that feeling! Happened to me just a couple months ago! I had some mild changes in my cervical fluids which was an indicator for an infection I guess. I had to get a colposcopy done where they took a biopsy and it came back as low grade changes (CIN1) so totally normal. Have to get a pap done in 12 months again. Don’t worry too much in advance! If it was something really serious they’d tell you!

If you’ve had other paps with another provider that haven’t had abnormal cells, I wouldn’t worry about it. I wonder if they sent out the letter by mistake or it was supposed to go to another patient? You can keep calling them, or call your current provider to make sure your last pap results were normal if that helps your peace of mind.
