Breastfeeding problem

Hi I just had my baby 5 days ago and I already have problems breastfeeding him. My nipples hurt every time he feeds and I bought a nippleshield to stop the cracks and injuries to apear, but they still hurt even with the nippleshields and my boobs are so hard and heavy and apparently clogged. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, he latches perfectly but it seems that he has a tongue tie problem. I just need some advice and encouragement to keep trying to breastfeed. It hurts so much.
