Should I be mad ??????

My fiance and I  just moved to a new state and I didn't have a job lined up before we moved. but I did have money saved until I found a job. So we decided that it would be best if I be a stay-at-home mom  because childcare is too expensive$$$$. I have a 10 year old and 2 year old. My fiance brings home all the money he take care of all the bills but I never have any money for myself  he doesn't give me money just to have in my pocket he buys all my personal items. I really don't like it I'm used to  having my own money in my bank account. normal stuff that I will buy for myself I found myself not getting because I don't feel like it's my money what should I do?  Am I wrong for feeling this way and over exaggerating and  making a big deal out of nothing?

You’re getting no financial recognition of the huge career sacrifice you made for the benefit of your family, and that’s definitely not fair! I would definitely feel like I deserved some kind of “salary” if I were in your position.

Since you're the mother of his kids and future wife, I would get a joint bank account. You're an adult should be allowed to have access to money. Since you're sacrificing a job+money to stay at home with both of your kids. If you want to go out for lunch with the kids or buy them a treat and so on you shouldn't have to ask him.

I am in the same boat and feel exactly the same way. I have 8 and 6 year old from previous relationship and one on the way with my fiancé. He takes care of everything because he wanted me to be stay at home mom for while.

Can you look for a job with part time hours or maybe something second shift after he comes home? Waitressing on the weekends maybe?

Can you not just ask for money? That seems controlling. Just ask for some spending money. If money is tight, talk about an allowance, and save it. If he can't afford to pay bills and start a small business, save the allowance money to buy supplies. Childcare is really expensive, especially at-home care. I'm a nanny and I make anywhere from $15-25 an hour. Granted, I watch the kids, clean the house (laundry, dishes, tidying up) and cook. Get a side job as a babysitter. Advertise to pick up kids after they get out of school.

it's not like I'm trying to bash my fiance or sound ungrateful I love him dearly he's a great man and I am thankful for what I have lights water a roof over my head food in my stomach my kids are taken care of but I feel like I do a lot as well I wash his clothes cook his dinner plate ready when he gets home from work maintain house in dealing with a crazy toddler and dog LOL helping my oldest son with his homework sometimes I feel unappreciated

What might feel better is to set a budget for groceries, personal items, indulgences, etc that he just automatically deposits to your account or a joint account to spend yourself that way you can spend it without having to ask?

You could look into a direct sales job and do that from home. I know a lot of SAHM who do it and works great for them
