She’s here!!!

Nia

Okay so this is probably one the easiest deliveries ever in the history of delivering a child. I was scheduled to be induced this morning at 7:30. They took me back, hooked me up to the iv, I received the epidural and pitocin by 8:30. I was 4-5 minutes dilated by that time. Doctor came in to break my water at around 10:20. I kept feeling pressure in my butt and the nurse was telling me I shouldn’t be so I just assumed they were contractions. A couple of hours went by and my dr hasn’t rechecked me so the nurse did and was like “yup there’s her head, we’re having a baby” literally this baby came out on her own. People were trying to reach my doctor, 6 people flew in the room. I texted my mom at 12:48 that it’s almost time and by 12:56 my baby came! She literally came out on her own, I didn’t even have to push!

Do not let these induction stories scare you! I let them scare me and I had the best labor! I’m up and walking, no tears, no pain.

Baby girl Imani!
