Vitamin D deficiency

Has anyone had their Vitamin D checked while doing blood work? My BFF told me to have it checked (her mom is really into natural/holistic remedies) and sure enough - my fertility specialist looked at it w my last round of blood work and i have a slight Vitamin D deficiency. He recommended i start taking a Vitamin D supplement.

I started doing some research and there is a lot of information on how a Vitamin D deficiency can affect fertility! Has anyone heard of this before or have anymore info on it?
