Should I Wait?!

My period is a week late. Me and my boyfriend had A LOT of alone time for the holidays if you know what I mean. Should I tell my boyfriend I’m late or should I wait to test? I don’t want him to worry if I tell him I’m late. But I also don’t want to test and if it comes out positive spring it on him like “I’m pregnant!” He wouldn’t be that surprised he’d 100% be happy we’ve talked about babies before in the future I’m just nervous. He’s been really stressed lately hes finishing up his college degree and his car got towed 3 times this week. Every time I try to tell him I chicken out. Any advice?
