Flu! What to do?

Question

So does anyone have sick kids at home with the flu? I do and I’m pregnant kind of scared of getting sick. Ugh! Anyone else worried? Or might be at risk in getting the flu. Any recommendations. My doctor can’t see me until February 2nd. What to do?

The day after I did my IVF transfer, I got sick with the flu. When I found out I was pregnant, I went to get the flu shot. Getting the flu shot is really up to you and if your doctor recommends it. I would. Maybe call your OB and ask if they recommend the flu shot. 
Make sure to wipe everything done with clorox wipes and consistently wash your hands to avoid getting sick.

Went to the doctor and they prescribed Tamiflu. Will start taking it tomorrow. Pharmacies are all closed now.

My husband just got over the flu. The OB doc that was on call that evening my husband found out he had it just called out tamiflu an antiviral medication to help the stop the progression of the virus in the body. He did as as a prevention for me. It was just a 5 day course. But my recommendation for you is to sanitize everything and wear a mask.
