What I did differently- BFP 8 DPO! 🤰🏻

Ka

Hey there, ladies!

Hubby and I are extremely lucky to have our BFP after 7 months TTC! I would stalk these boards, searching for ANYTHING I could do naturally to help get things done. I was so not expecting a BFP this cycle; I’d really like to share what I did differently! Of course, I can’t say if this is was our key to success but, never know!

B6 and B complex in addition to my prenatal! Started taking it at CD 5, only 50 mg a day with a B complex vitamin as I read it helps knock hormones back into regularity. I definitely felt a change almost immediately in my daily energy and my skin started clearing up.

I lost 6 lbs! I know that doesn’t seem like much but, my doc advised me that the SMALLEST change in weight and daily nutrition can help jump start hormones to regulate also. Drinking a lot more water than usual.

This was also my first month temping! I started almost a week late and I have sleep troubles so my temps were taken all over however, I’d use a bbt adjuster to the same time and it was actually pretty spot on! I was afraid the B6 would delay my O, and I did have a pretty late ovulation but, I don’t believe it was due to the B6. I think I’ve been Oing CD 18 this whole time and never knew as I would get multiple positive opk days starting around CD14. I had a chemical in August and looking back, that was the only month we BD around CD18. Temping helped me see that!

I got a vvvvfl first thing in the morning 8 DPO on and IC, which is crazy, right!? Especially with ovulation so late and getting a positive so early. Positive drug store brand, dollar store brand, and a barely there line on FRER. Like almost an indent! Got my positive digital 9 DPO! (Still a light line on FRER, that brand hates me... all other brands now are strong positives HA!)

I honestly had similar signs and “symptoms” from O to my positive that I normally have until AF except the cramping was not as bad. Breast are KILLING me. Sore throat and stuffy nose off and on since positive. Backache started around implantation, I suspect. Other cycles I would be so incredibly nauseous after O and be vomiting until AF, it would convince me I was PG but I had only two days of getting sick right after O as progesterone was surging! I honestly think the B6 helped with my progesterone.

Before we kicked efforts into high gear at the start of the new year, my doctor and I were discussing the possibility of PCOS or Endo while checking my thyroid for hormone issues. My husband and I are stubborn and REALLY wanted it to be natural and tried to stay as patient as possible to keep from putting pressure on the situation. After a chemical last summer and infertility looming, it is such a relief to know that we can do it and patience paid off!

I REALLY hope this helps, ladies! Feel free to connect with me if you have questions! Baby dust and fingers crossed for that BFP!
