The beginning of December marked two exciting events for our family, our LO turned 2 months and we found out we were expecting! I was still nursing LO a lot and hadn’t gotten a period. One day I felt a little off and had a tiny bit of spotting and decided to take a hpt...it was positive...yay? After a couple days of accepting it we were thrilled!
Unfortunately the days to come brought more bleeding and cramping and ultimately a chemical pregnancy. We were pretty devastated. What a way to spend Christmas...with a miscarriage! We decided to we were going to try again right away so I bought ovulation tests but no positive. We continued to “try” in the following weeks blindly.
Fast forward to Jan.9 no period. I took a hpt just in case, it was negative. Then for some strange reason I took a opk and it was positive! I was ovulating! We made sure to do the deed for the next couple days.
10DPO I woke up and took an internet cheapie hpt and it was negative but I thought maybe it had a little light line. SMU for some reason I decided to use a FRER digital and two minutes later I saw it...”YES”
I have a new respect for women struggling with infertility, one month and I was driving myself crazy. I am beyond thankful for this beautiful gift and much love and sticky dust to women trying to concieve everywhere!
