What’s going on?

Period ended last week, it ended a day earlier then it usually does but didn’t think much of it cause it’s happened before, got home and went to the bathroom and there was a little blood on my panty liner and a little blood when I wiped but now the blood is gone, me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex as we are trying to conceive and we had sex today but nothing like this has happened before, anyone know what it might be? Also blood is bright red like new blood
