Alright ladies, I need some major advice on how to use my words here! I’ve met this guy off of tinder...yeah I know tinder but just keep reading! So I met this guy who was actually gentlemenly instead of being a douche right off of the bat. I was like okay, I might talk to you! Fast forward to a month later and I just went on my first date with this guy. I think he could understand that I wanted to make sure he wasn’t a psycho. He is exactly like me in our tastes and we are such nerds together and he is incredibly handsome! Basically, I want things to keep going between us. Here is where I need the help...how do I tell my parents I’ve met a guy off tinder and that I really like him? I don’t think me meeting a guy is the problem it’s just how I met him might be the problem! What should I do?! I have no idea how to word this news and idk how to explain where they know.

The reason it would be such an important thing to word things carefully is that when I was younger I lied and met an older guy offline from an app called MeetMe (he was 17 and I was 15). When I met him he molested me and it took a year to even tell my parents what had actually happened that day. Therefore, I feel like if i just come out and say that I met a guy online, they will FLIP OUT (even though I’m now 20). I just need help ladies!
