He wants our son to be a junior but I want our son to have his own name and identity! I’m getting closer to the due date & he has really been expressing his frustrations about the name. He feels like since it’s his first son he should be a junior and all of the kids in his family are juniors. I told him maybe the next baby can be a junior but he thinks it’s stupid (🤷🏽‍♀️) what can I say to make him feel better about the baby having a different name?

Thanks for the feedback 😂 He asked me again over the phone “can’t you just compromise with the name?” I told him no because we’ve already named him! We have personalized items with his name on it and I’m due in 4 days. I think he is just trying to be controlling because he responded by telling me since I won’t compromise then he won’t come to my Dr appt in the morning. 🤷🏽‍♀️ He also felt the need to share that a friend told him “the name is really his decision and if he doesn’t like what I pick then he doesn’t have to sign the birth certificate”...not sure if that was threat but yea I’m keeping the name we already agreed on. His hissy fit made that decision easier.
