tea tree oil solution

I have a bump on the front and back of my piercing and my doctor said it's a keloid and gave me medicine. my piercer told me to use tea tree oil and put it on the piercing but I hear it's too harsh to use just as it is and that it should be diluted. how do I prepare a solution for my piercing?

also the only tea tree oil I can find is an essential oil
