Why do you have the name you have?

As in how did your parents come up with your name? Are you named after anyone in particular?

I’m named after my uncle. His name is “ApparentlyADouche”

I was supposed to be a boy named Obadiah. 🤢 my dad swore I was a boy and so they didn’t check during ultrasounds or anything. They bought all boy stuff and only had a boy name picked out.
My big sister (10 at the time) asked if she could name me Trinity.
Which is how a 10 year old came up with a better baby name in 24 hours than 2 adults could in 9 months.

I’m named after my dad (Daniel) because he was dying of cancer when I was born and my mom wanted me to be named after her best friend, and her and I have been best friends my whole life.

My mom saw a design by Nina Ricci in a magazine 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 also, my middle names Rose and Michelle came from family members. Rose was my great grandmother (she was the most hilarious, sassy woman. I had her with me until I was 19). Michelle was my dad’s sister who passed away when he was a kid. Also, his name is Michael, so it’s the feminine form of his name.

I was named after the midwife who delivered me. She and my mom were good friends. My middle name is a tradition. All the women in my mom's family have the same one.

My mom was going to name me Leslie Dessireth and then she changed her mind and was going to name me Brandy 😂. I was born in 1990 so that explains that.
She ended up naming me after my dad but girl version. My middle name is something YEWNEEK..... is a smash up in between

My mom wanted to name me Corey Elizabeth because she just loved the name. My dad wouldn’t accept anything but Jessica Lynn. Jessica is from one of his favorite songs, Jessica by the Allman Brothers. He said the song was long and beautiful and thats what he wanted for my life. Lynn is his moms middle name and his only sisters first name.❤️❤️
