Gestational diabetes?

Did anyone fail their 1 hour test with a blood sugar of almost 200 and still pass their 3 hour and end up not having it??
UPDATE : threw up my 3 hour , have to take it on Monday again and if I throw it up they're just going to say I got it.

> 200 is a very high reading for a glucose load of 50 g carb, which is how much carbs you get for the 1 hr glucose tolerance test.
For the 3 hour test, you will consume twice the amount of carb, they’ll give you 100 g. 
Now, for the 3 hour test, even though you’re getting double the amount of carbs, you’re still not supposed to go as high as 200..the highest 
your BG can get to and still “pass” is 180.
If your blood sugar goes above these levels at any of the 4 blood draws, you’ll fail the 3 hour..
Fasting: greater than 95 mg/dL 
1 hour: greater than 180 mg/dL 
2 hour: greater than 155 mg/dL 
3 hour: greater than 140 mg/dL 
If your blood sugar went up to 200 one hour after consuming 50 g carb, I’m assuming it would reach at least that level one hour after consuming twice the amount of carbs. 
With that being said, 2/3 of women who take the 3 hr GTT *do* pass, so that’s good news, but I would definitely prepare for the “worst” as your blood sugar really was very high after that 1 hour test. 
With my first 2 pregnancies, I failed the one hour each time (though my blood sugar was never up to 200) and passed the 3 hour, but for my third pregnancy I failed the one hour and 3 hour and had gestational diabetes.
GD isn’t good, of course, but it’s not the absolute end of the world. If you do have this, it will of course mean very close monitoring of your diet and potentially being on oral or injection medication to manage it. Keeping a diary of my carbs and grams of protein and snacking frequently enough and measuring exact amounts of food felt like a full time job! But it was a good lesson in paying close attention to how what I eat affects my body. I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietician, they’re such great resources! Mine helped me make meal plans and measure and balance nutrients. 
Another thing I didn’t expect that shocked me was the fact that I was suddenly high-risk because of the GD. I had been seeing a regular board certified OB but I had to have consults with a high risk perinatologist to decide when it was safe to deliver. Also, I had to do biophysical profile ultrasounds 2x per week and NSTs 3x per week from 32 weeks on, which they told me was their standard care for GD. 
I hope you don’t have GD. But if you do, ask lots of questions, and read up on everything you can, and start paying ultra close attention to your diet!

I failed my 1 hour at 164.... but I didn’t fast and I had a small mocha earlier that morning. It was my own fault. 
Passed my 3 hour with flying colors... but that test really sucks.
