Do any of your SOs work out of town

Question

My fiancé is out of town for work and  when he’s gone it’s horrible.  I miss him so much and we live on a pretty big farm so it’s up to me to keep it all up and running without his help.  How do you guys handle your SOs being out of town for periods of time.  (I would tell him to look for a better job that’s in one place but his job now is what he loves and he gets paid very well and he has good benefits so he’s stickin with it)

My husband’s military, for me, it’s part of the territory. 
I just make sure we make the most of our time together. We always plan fun excursions and adventures to look forward to.

My husband travels on average 32 weeks a year. I work full time as a teacher, take care of our dog and three year old and M pregnant with our second. It's super hard without him. Not just because I miss him, but I also need his help. Plus he never makes it to my doctors appointments. I sometimes find myself resenting him, but I often have to remind myself that while it's hard on me, it's just as hard for him to be away. He's not traveling because he wants to, but because he's providing for our family. Try to get in a routine without him. Watch shows you know he won't watch, eat what he doesn't like. Before I had kids I would go shopping, take a yoga class, meet the girls for happy hour. Try really taking advantage of time with your friends and family. Hang in there!

My husband was FIFO so I know how hard it is. We moved and he got a new job so he could see our baby everyday. It's only our second year of living together in our 8 year relationship.
