To young?

I’m 19 I’ll be 20 in May but ever since I was young I always wanted a baby. Idk why it keeps sticking to me. I could convince myself that I’m to young etc and I STILL would care to have one.. idk why I have this such feeling.. it was way back since I was super young .. I started being sexually active at 18. But I never tried to have a baby. Like I’m not TTC but if it happens then i guess it happens.. is being my age to young for a baby? I have a job, a car and I’m working on getting my own apartment. Although I may not try to conceive but if it happens then so be it. I will never literally start trying until I’m actually married though.

From my perspective a woman who always knew I wanted to be a mother, who had a child at 23 by myself without a partner (by accident and he left doesn’t even know her name by his choice). And now having another baby at 28  married and stable I would highly recommend taking every necessary precaution to wait until marriage or later in life to have a child. Don’t get me wrong, my daughter is the light of my life she is four and such a wonderful little person but raising her by myself was hard those first two years. I missed her first word, first steps, and many other milestones having to go back to work at 3 months post partum and putting her in daycare and under the care of family. I didn’t get to be the mother I always dreamed of being. I bought us our first home together with my hard work and supported us both (I received no child support by choice). But I can say this experience this pregnancy has been so different, now I’m a stay at home mom,  I have enjoyed instead of been worried every day of my pregnancy, I take my daughter to school, feed her lunch and meet her every need. And I know when this baby comes the end of February I won’t miss her firsts and I will get to be the mother to my newborn child I always dreamed of being. ❤️

I was 19 when I got pregnant, I'm 20 now and due in March.  I desperately wanted a baby because I thought it would help fix my depression.
Now I just really wish I'd waited.  I've always known I wanted kids but now I know I rushed it.  I wish I had more time to save money, time to find a better job that I enjoy more, time to get my life more organized.  I wish my bf could go to school without having to work so hard and stress so much.
We love our son and he doesn't regret anything.  I don't necessarily regret it either, I'm excited for him to be here.  But I just wish I would've had the time to give him a better life.
We have a car and our own apartment and everything too, but take my advice.  Wait at least a few years and get everything together.

It passes.  I felt that way at 18.  And then a little bit at 22.  And then it hit me for real at 32, with almost nothing in between. Now I’m 33, married, and 6 weeks pregnant.  Wait it out, until you are in a position to have a stable life achieving your goals.

Good plan to wait until you’re married. 19/20 is still so young. You don’t even mention a partner in this post. Make sure you’re both fully committed to each other, so many people rush into children because they have baby fever and end up with shitty ex’s, struggling to co-parent.

I’ve always known I wanted kids, but I’ve also always known I wanted a partner to raise them with. I’m 35, married, good job, own a home and I am 30w with my first. I wish I was younger for a bunch of reasons, but only if my circumstances could be the same (and they wouldn’t have been, I didnt even meet my husband until I was 31). You can raise a child without a partner of course, but I think it’s easier to have someone to share it all with.

my best friends from HS all had babies at 20/21 but they were in solid positions with houses and jobs with their partners. Since then they are engaged to their partners. I'm 23 and married. It all depends. Get your apartment first and settle in then see how you feel♡

If you're questioning, it's not the right time. You say 100% you won't try until marriage - have you considered why that is? If you want to wait maybe the feeling your having is impatience at this point. If so, put the breaks on! If not, consider how much a baby costs, who will watch them when your at work? It's a good test in reality to realistically budget for baby.
