3cm yesterday come on baby!! Soon??

Question

I was 3 cm yesterday when Dr checked me. I've been having sharp pain in my pelvis occasionally since the exam and more pelvic pressure than before. Could  labor soon or at least more dilation??

Pelvic checks only Tell you where you currently stand and do not AT ALL predict when labor will happen. I was 1 cm and went into labor 4 days later with my first, 4cm and walked around for 5 weeks like that my second. Good news is that is 3 cm less that you have to go through in active labor!

I was 3cm and 80% effaced for 3weeks before my water finally broke.  Good luck!
