could be to prevent heartburn but you can eat spicy food during my pregnancy 4total i ate spicy and i meen spicy foods. and all went well just the heartburn was horrible i loved doing aguachiles. its a mexican plate. shrimps cooked in lime juice and blend 6 or 7 jalapeños with lime juice which its pretty spicy lol and all went ok. so go ahead and munch on those tacos
