Is there anyone reading this? Need advice please!

I got my first smiley face yesterday after using ovulation tests since last Friday. I don’t know why but I tested again this morning and no smiley. I thought I was supposed to ovulate over at least two days, or at least have a surge for two days I mean. Really worried now that there’s something wrong with me. We did BD last night so hopefully caught my window but still, I’ve not seen anyone else on here only have one day? xx

When I use opks, I feel like I only get one definite positive. Plus I’ve read that you should go by the first positive if you get multiple, so good thing you BDed!

oh dont worry about it! 1 positive is very normal. you get the LH surge which can last 12-24hrs. and once you get a positive you should O 12-48hrs later. I think its actually more common for it to be brief. It only triggers ovulation so it doesnt have to last through ovulation. Ive never had 2 positives in a row. This also means that you could have a month where its almost positive, but then gone the next day. Lots of ppl completely miss it because it just doesnt last long enough--hense why many ppl test twice a day.
