Anyone try keto?

Question

So, many people at our church have been doing keto and having great success. We're ttc though and I wasn't sure if it'd be a good idea for me to restrict carbs. As I was searching this morning I discovered  some RE's actually recommend keto and many women have success getting pregnant while eating keto. Anyone have a success story for me?

It balances your hormones and you will lose weight which is fantastic but.... if you have anxiety or low serotonin you depend on carbs. I learned the hard way 😫 you can do Keto for a few months and then slowly introduce other foods. You can also check for food sensitivities. Sometimes an autoimmune paleo diet is good enough.

Coming from a nurse, it WILL make you lose a lot of weight, however, it is not good on your kidneys at all. Also, the very second you start eating carbs again you gain weight right back. The very best way to lose weight is eat healthy and small proportions with light exercise. Good luck!
