Anyone's period regulate itself after having your 1st baby?

I had my son almost a year ago. My period returned around 4 months. I am breast feeding. My 1st few cycles were about 70ish days apart but for the last 4 cycles it has been 30-31 days. Before I got pregnant my period was not consistent at all and it took us 2 and a half years to conceive him because of PCOS. We are hoping to conceive again soon and hoping that my body has straightened itself out. Anyone have any success stories about your cycle regulating itself and/or conceiving your 2nd (or any other # of children) easily? Just hoping and praying here!
