Why is it so hard for my BF to accept money from me?😞

Hello, so my BF doesnt have money right now, so we cant see eachother. I said, that I will send him money, so he can come - to buy diesel, he lives 30 minutes away. Also, he doesnt have to give it back. I said, take it like win from lottery, Its win-win for both. But NO! He doesnt want to. Does it happen to you, too? Why is it so hard for men to accept money from their girls? 😞😞
