Is your LO waiting longer between feeds during the day?

Question

My LO has always ate every 4 hours during the day from the time she was born. This past week she has been waiting 5-6 hours to eat during the day and sleeps from 7/8pm until 7/8am.

My son has been the same way! And since he sleeps through the night I’m starting to worry if he’s eating enough! Today he finally woke up at 9 after going to bed at 8 last night and he wasn’t even crying to be fed. I don’t know how someone with such a tiny stomach can possibly go 13 hours without food, but we had our 4 month appt yesterday and his pediatrician said he’s following a healthy path on his chart so I’m not going to start worrying until she does. I’m able to go through the day with hardly any food and sometimes I have to remind myself to eat, so maybe our babies are just starting to act more adult-like.

My girls use to nurse every 3 hours and now eat every 2 lol so opposite for me
