First love

I have been with my SO for 6 years now but I still think of my first love more often than I’d like to admit. He is in my dreams all the time and we never really had closure. We only broke up because he moved so far away. I never even had sex with him, but I still love him so much that it hurts and I cry when my husband isn’t around. I met him when I was 11 and I’ve always loved him since then. So it’s literally been 10 years. Can anybody relate? Does it ever get better?
