Braxton hicks??

Question

Hey all so I just turned 13 weeks yesterday and glow had updated and added some symptoms. I saw that it added Braxton hicks contractions?? Is it possible to get them so early? What do they feel like and how do I know when I'm feeling it?? I only made it to 16 weeks with my first and never experienced it and since this pregnancy I have a healthy baby girl I'm more aware of all these new symptoms I'll start to get.

I got pains around 17 weeks and I tho it was Braxton Hicks but my ob said it was way to soon.. so No

they can start as early as 6 weeks but usually aren't felt until after 20 weeks. they can feel different to different people and in different pregnancies but typically your uterus will tighten up like it's holding its breath and you may also feel mild menstrual cramps at the same time. You shouldn't get more than 4 in an hour. if you do, drink 2 glasses of water and lay down. if they continue, call your doctor.
