Do you think it is ok for a 17 yr old girl to date a 20 yr old man?

I found out today my 17 year old cousin is dating a 20 yr old man. I am not happy and have told her to end it immediately. What's your opinion?

Usually a 3 year age gap would be no big deal, but only when both people are over 18 or even over 20. I think at 17/18 you should date someone your own age.

It's only 3 years. Yes, he's considered an adult and she isn't. I met my hubby when I was 16 and he was 18 almost 19 and here we are 21 years later. 😍

I was 15 dating a 21 year old it lasted 6 years then I decided I haven't really lived and experienced life (asked me to meet him) and 4 years later I have a 1 year old  son. just really depends on the situation in not against it if the guys intentions are not ill

I was 17 with someone 24, it's not a big deal, most places are of age at 16. also she's your cousin, you have no say in her life and cannot demand ANYONE to end a relationship but yourself, you sound extremely controlling.

It wouldn’t be an issue 5 years down the road.. but the maturity level difference at that age is pretty extreme, and the experience levels have a huge disparity.
