Is it harder to conceive with one ovary?

I had gotten my left ovary removed due to a tumor I still have the tube intact but I was wondering if anyone new if it is harder to conceive with one ovary?

I actually think if you lose an ovary the other one picks up the slack pretty well. It might be a slightly reduced chance of getting pregnant but definitely not big impact. I know many people who lost a tube and ovary due to ectopic and went on to have multiple children without any issues.

Hey hun I have the right ovary and tube left and have conceived on that side his a big boy now and I'm ttc baby number 3 and I ovulate every month

as far as I know 1 ovary produces an egg one month and the other ovary produces the next month. not 100% sure but that's what I was told

My guess would be that you'd only produce an egg approx every other cycle- I could be wrong tho. prob good to check with your doc
