Having anaemia?

Hi ladies. I've been to the doctors today because of a few symptoms I have. They said I could have anaemia but will need a blood test which I have in 3 weeks time. Can anaemia cause a fertility issue if I'm not getting enough iron?

I’m pretty sure I had bad anemia prior to getting pregnant. I had no issue getting pregnant.

I was on iron supplements on top of my prenatal prior to getting pregnant.  Had to stop when I got pregnant due to major constipation issues (between pregnancy and the pills I barely went and it was awful). I actually went back to normal during pregnancy. I do not think that was what caused us issues. I was on the supplements for almost a year before we got pregnant (tried 16 months).

I've been trying for a year but had no luck. My mum got an underactive thyroid, and I've just had so many symptoms so went to the doctors today. She said it could be that or anaemia. I know if thyroid isn't treated then I know that can be harder to conceive but I was just wondering about having anaemia would make it also harder to conceive
