When to tell my 3.5 year old?

My little one is too switched on for his age so I need to be careful what I say around him. Just wondering when others have told their children they are pregnant? I’m just worried he will slip up and tell people lol, but at the same time I want to tell him as his been asking for a baby brother/sister for a year now

I'm in a different situation but when my baby is born, my oldest will be 2.5 years and my middle child will be 1.5 years. since the beginning I have always told my babies that there is a baby in mommy's belly but I also announce my pregnancies early so it's not really a sexret for very long

I have 3 kids, we tell when we're okay with others knowing. We told my oldest it's just for family only but he told EVERYONE including people he doesn't even talk to. ...like the security guard at his preschool, our neighbor etc lol

We announced my pregnancy at 10 weeks at my son’s fourth birthday party. So my son was told at the same time as our family and friends. No one knew before that. I didn’t think I could tell my son without telling others. A four year old can’t keep a secret.

my 4 year old just told everyone even though we told her that it was a big secret. she didn't actually blab, but she was super excited and told them 'I'm SUPER happy but I can't tell you why' 😂
so if you're not ok with other people knowing I'd wait until right before officially announcing it.
