Rant/personal question.. how often are you ladies getting it on?!

So I’m 18 weeks pregnant and just never in the mood to have sex.. when I first got pregnant, until about 13 weeks, we had sex at least once every week. Then every couple weeks.. and now I think it’s been 3 weeks. I feel terrible for my husband, however, it seems that he has lost interest in it as well.. and it actually makes me sad :( I really want to have sex because I love my husband and I love the closeness and happiness I feel during/after sex.. but i can’t get in the mood and it also sounds so uncomfortable now that I’m getting bigger.
Sorry for the rant.. any advice and/or anyone in the same boat? How often are you ladies having sex these days?!

Me. I am feeling so defeated this pregnancy. 18 weeks and my husband and I have had sex once since I got pregnant. I had terrible morning sickness, then the flu, then bronchitis, then I fell down the stairs and hurt my neck/back. It has just been one thing after another. On top of it I have an almost 2 year old that is a terror lately. I am so tired and feel so bad for my husband. He is great and says he understands. He is always building me up by saying how great I am as a mother and wife. It is just so hard to see lately.

I only see my partner once or twice a month for a couple days but MAN, do we do it on those few days. These hormones are also making me want to try things I’ve never tried before 😂😂. 
I also don’t know if maybe he read it in a book to do this😂, but he’s always telling me how sexy I am now and that I’m the sexiest pregnant woman. So not only am I craving sexytime all the time, I’m now super confident too.

Never. I'm not allowed to have sex until after 36 or 37 weeks. I'm only 16 weeks. It'll be worth it if I can have a healthy baby.

I’m currently 17+5 and my sex drive has just started returning. Up till now I could have cared less to even be touched, let alone have sex. I’m glad it’s returning though so I’m hoping yours does too!

I just make myself do it. I haven’t had an orgasm since getting Pregnant nor felt in the mood but you just have to put yourself out there. You may surprise yourself and find yourself more in the mood than planned.

I haven’t wanted to have sex in a while, I’m also 18 weeks. Sometimes I have just done it because I know how bad he wants to. Probably it has been once a week or once every 2 weeks. I keep hoping I’ll change I just don’t feel comfortable with my body changing and I don’t feel sexy anymore. I’m not in pain or anything when we have sex so I just try to push through that feeling for his sake because he’s still persistent about it lol

My husband is only home once every 6-8 weeks. Haven’t seen him since early Christmas morning. And he’s only home for 1-2 days. Honestly it’s a miracle we got pregnant.

almost every night. sometimes I can't be bothered because my belly and boobs are huge and I feel like a whale but I feel it's important for us. this last week we have only done it once because we have been getting our house ready to go on the market and trying to clean like mad (difficult with 2 other kids) and my mum has been staying to keep the kids so I can work overtime. I feel like it would be easy to not make the effort but I feel already that I'm missing the intimacy

Im having sex 1-2 a week and yes I am feeling less attractive because of the bigger belly but my husband is good at making me feel sexy after I told him how i was feeling. You should definitely give it a go. Wear some lingerie that is flattering, dim the lights, put some music on and get on top of him. The only way to get out of this slump is to go all out. He should try too though and you can ask him why he isn’t initiating sex. Are you rejecting him when he does? Communicate how you are feeling.
