So Exactly What Do You Do at a Gender Reaveal Party???

You know, besides actually revealing the gender?  I'm a FTM, and I've never even been to a gender reveal party, but I'd like to have one.  So I'm curious how you keep people entertained.  If you've had one, what sort of games did you play?  Should invitations have the registry on them?  Did you and your SO know baby's sex before the gender reveal, or was it a surprise for you too?  What kind of food and beverages did you serve?

My brother had a bbq over the summer with friends and family. No gifts and/or registry. They sent out a Facebook invite and word of mouth. After grilling  they did the hanging box w the confetti in it. They didn’t know...my sister in laws sister made it. 
Hubs and I revealed on thanksgiving to our families since we were hosting. No one knew we knew until we pulled out dessert. I made cupcakes and filled them a pink icing and had everyone take a bite at the same time.

Go to Etsy and you can find gender reveal games in new to the gender reveal party but my boyfriends step mom is gonna throw us one lol && for food do things like miniature type food such as finger sandwiches, mini sodas, pigs in blankets etc.  (not something you actually have to do it was just an idea lmao)

We had a small gathering in our home with mostly family and a few friends we didn’t do a registry or gifts we just wanted people to celebrate with us and enjoy themselves. We served plenty of food and drinks. I don’t think you need to do games but we had everyone take a poll of their guess before we did the reveal. I had the doctor seal the gender in an envelope and I handed it over to a friend And had them fill a balloon for us with pink or blue confetti so it was a surprise to all of us. This is our fourth child and probably our last and I loved doing this it was such a fun way to find out the gender of our baby with everyone around to join in on the excitement.
