Dermatology question!!

I've had these hive-type splotches pop up on my chest, shoulders, and upper back area for over a year now, and recently they've spread to my neck. they start out a pink color or a color a bit darker than my skin, they itch, and then after a few hours, days, or months, they turn whiter than my skin. so they turn into white splotches almost like scars. I just want to figure out what it is

I've basically ruled out allergies because it's been happening so long and I've changed out soaps and detergents and nothing made a difference.

I have considered stress hives maybe? But they pop up even when I'm not stressed. Has anyone had similar breakouts??? Please help
