Crush/Valentine’s Day Problems

So I have a crush on this boy that I’ve known since kindergarten. And now that I’m in sixth grade, I want to be his girlfriend. But now since it’s almost Valentine’s Day, there’s this thing at my school where you can send a rose 🌹 to a person you like. And my friends are asking me if I’m going to get one for my crush. And I say I would but what if he doesn’t like me the way I like him, so now I need help on deciding if I should send him a rose 🌹 or not.
